Rog’s Retreat at Stockhouse’s Farm

Come to Rog’s Retreat on Puget Island to give yourself a treat away from the stress of every day life. Or give as a gift to someone you love. Rog’s Retreat is a new guest cottage sitting among our flower and vegetable gardens. The retreat sleeps four (two on the futon in the sitting room). It is equipped with refrigerator and microwave, toaster, coffee maker and electric tea kettle. An outdoor barbeque is also available.

A continental breakfast will be waiting in your room for your first morning.
Farm cooked breakfasts or dinners are available by reservation.

Rog’s Retreat is ideal for a fishing, waterfowl hunting or kayaking trip or use as overflow lodging for your guests. Fish locally for salmon, steelhead and sturgeon (we will provide you with up to the minute fishing reports). Our island and surrounding waterways provide many miles of protected kayak paddling. While you’re here you can stroll around the farm, check out the flower and vegetable gardens, pet the goats, gather the eggs and admire the ducks… whatever suits your frame of mind! Roast marshmallows over a campfire, launch your kayak from our property, bird from the retreat porch or take a bicycle ride around the island on 30 miles of paved dike road. The possibilities are many and varied!

Our guest cottage is a non-smoking building with no TV (VCR available for VHS movie viewing). Reading and game playing are encouraged. Children are welcome as long as they remain in parental control. They will love to pet the goats or help gather eggs with the farmer! Bring the camera to take their picture on the farmer’s giant pumpkins (in season only!).

$100/night $500/week
Rates for additional guests and pets available upon request.

Credit cards are not accepted but personal checks are. First nights deposit is required upon reservation. Rates quoted do not include state/local taxes.
